I like lines, texture, patterns and clean design.

I like seeing a vision outside and translating it into something wearable or usable - something that reflects its origin in a subtle way.

I like living in inspiring places with inspiring people - these motivate me to progress and grow within and with them.

I suppose I am a designer - I just like to create, make and share. Not just jewelry or things, but health, relationships, adventure and satisfaction.

Poiesis Design came about through a progression - landscape architecture shared with me the tools, exploration then led to designing more than spaces. I am a landscape architect, maker of things, and explorer of design that makes people feel good.

Everything in my shop is designed and hand / laser made by me in my work studio at the base of Mt. Sopris in Carbondale, Colorado. I source most of my wood material from local friend-woodworkers and other materials from here and there when needed.
